The RMA Onam 2024 celebration, held on the 7th of September, was indeed a special event that brought our community together in a joyful and lively atmosphere. Adorned in our traditional attire, we all immersed ourselves in the festive spirit, enjoying cultural programs and displays like the vibrant chendamelam that filled the air with energy. The highlight, of course, was the delightful Onasadya by Pearl Bay Restaurent, Hervey Bay , a feast that everyone savoured. The day resonated with music, laughter, and happiness, creating lasting memories of unity and tradition.
A big shoutout to Our Esteemed Guests, Ms. Donna Kirkland, the LNP candidate for Rockhampton, and Fr. Alex Varghese, the parish priest of Rockhampton, for gracing our Onam celebration with their presence.
